Privacy Policy

Emira is a business operating system built for UK self-employed individuals and sole traders. It helps you manage customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, expenses, mileage, income and marketing in one place.

Account details: your email address and name, plus the business profile settings you provide (business name, tax rate, savings target, trade or industry, and custom deduction rates).

Business records you create: customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, payments, receipts (including any receipt images you upload), mileage trips, income entries, and bank transactions you import from a CSV file.

Marketing: social posts, campaigns and media assets you create or upload.

Messages: if you connect Gmail, Emira imports your inbox messages so you can read and reply to them in the app.

Calendar: if you connect Google Calendar, Emira reads your calendar events (read-only) to display them alongside your jobs.

To provide the Emira service to you — storing and organising your records, producing quotes, invoices and tax estimates, and generating insights and marketing content.

Some features use AI to analyse your data and produce suggestions, summaries or post captions. This processing happens only to deliver the feature you asked for.

We do not sell your data.

We share your data only with the providers needed to run the service: cloud hosting, the AI providers behind Emira's AI features, and — only when you choose to connect them — Google (Gmail and Google Calendar) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for publishing. Each provider is bound by its own terms and data processing commitments.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, export, correct or delete your data. You can erase your data and request full account removal from the Delete your account page, or by contacting support.

We keep your records for as long as your account is active. When you request deletion, your business data is erased immediately and your login account removal is completed by our team, typically within 30 days.

Your data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted to authorised personnel.
